Formation & History

  1. With the Blessings of Our Elders

The Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari Trust, Adoni, carries forward a purpose entrusted to us by our elders: to serve the public and those in need. With their blessings, this page shares in brief how that journey began and where it continues today.

  2. 1927

    A Gift for Public Service

In 1927, two family members from Raichooti and Gattu families, jointly acquired properties in the adoni town. They resolved to dedicate these properties to serving the public and those in need.

  3. Carried Forward by Like-Minded Friends

A group of five like-minded individuals, Raichooti Veeranna, Gattu Baalayya, Masudhi Thimaiah, Yadiki Tayyappa and H. M. Eeranna, came together to carry the decision forward. Stewardship then passed from one generation to the next, and the purpose set by the elders was upheld throughout.

  4. 2022

    Formation of the Trust

In 2022, responsibility was handed over to Raichooti Raghuram. The Trust was established by a Trust deed on 12 September 2022 and registered at the Sub-Registrar's Office, Adoni, on 14 September 2022. Its accounts were set up and its building was reconstructed.

  5. 2023

    A Growing Family of Trustees

On 8 September 2023, additional like-minded members were inducted into the Trust, widening the circle of people committed to its purpose.
